Lagares hot September continued Saturday, as he went 3-for-4 with a run scored in the Mets' 10-3 loss to the Nationals. Lagares is 17-for-49 with seven runs scored and seven stolen bases in the month. In addition, he has a solid 5:3 K:BB ratio for the month. Lagares is securely in place as the team's starting center fielder and seems to be figuring it out at the plate, though his defense is really what keeps him in the lineup.
