Lagares hit his first homer of the season as part of a 3-for-4 effort with three RBI against the Dodgers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
He picked up a start in center with lefty Julio Urias on the mound for the Dodgers and greeted the rookie with a two-run single as part of the Mets' three-run first inning. Lagares hasn't gotten a whole lot of playing time outside of serving as a defensive replacement late in games, but he's now hitting a cool .300 over 70 at-bats, which at least makes him of interest in NL-only formats. Too bad most leagues don't count his spectacular defense in the outfield.
