Kyle Seager hit a pair of home runs and drove home four, but it wasn't enough to overcome James Shields and the Rays on Wednesday. Seager finished the night 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI. He connected on a three-run blast off Shields in the first inning to get the Mariners on the board, then added a solo blast in the sixth to tie the game at four. He made the start at third base, and could continue to get more looks there as Chone Figgins platoons in the outfield. As long as he's receiving regular playing time, Seager could be a decent injury fill-in for those in deeper leagues.
