Kyle McClellan was removed from Tuesday's game against the Brewers in the 11th inning after rolling his right ankle. After tossing a scoreless 10th inning, McClellan struck out Prince Fielder and allowed a single to Casey McGehee before being replaced by Octavio Dotel, who recorded the final two outs of the ballgame. Cardinals manager Tony La Russa said that McClellan was being removed from the game regardless of the condition of his ankle. However, he can be considered day-to-day.
