Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks fired six innings of one run ball on Wednesday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Hendricks also allowed six hits, two walks and recorded six Ks. Hendricks was coming off of a poor start, but has pitched like his normal self except against the Reds. Hendricks should be started with confidence nearly every time out and will carry a 4-4 record with a 3.78 ERA into his next start against the Cardinals on Monday.
