Kyle Gibson was terrific on Friday, hurling seven shutout innings against the Tigers to earn his sixth victory of the season. Gibson allowed just five hits and a pair of walks on the night while striking out three. The Tigers mounted plenty of threats against him throughout the game, but were unable to deliver a key hit with runners in scoring position. He'll bring a 3.55 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 38/25 K/BB ratio into Wednesday's matchup against the Red Sox in Boston.
