Kyle Gibson was tagged for five runs in 6 2/3 innings by the Dodgers in Wednesday's loss. Gibson held the Dodgers to two runs through six, but he gave up three hits in the seventh, scoring one run, and then watched as Michael Tonkin surrendered a two-run single after replacing him. All in all, it was a better outing than the ERA makes it sound. Still, he's fallen quickly after allowing a total of two runs in his first three starts; he's given up 12 in the last two. Only AL-only leaguers should have him active next week.
