Kyle Gibson was pounded for six runs and eight hits in 2 1/3 innings by the Phillies on Thursday. Gibson has showed good velocity this spring, but he might be in need of some Triple-A time after missing most of 2012 following Tommy John surgery. Besides, the Twins would be smart to push back his free agency clock a year by giving him at least a month in the minors.
