Kyle Gibson spun six shutout innings in Wednesday's 8-1 victory over the Mariners. Gibson scattered seven hits, punched out three and issued one free pass. He's gone 4-2 with a 2.51 ERA in seven starts at home, but came into this outing 3-5 with a 5.54 ERA in 10 road outings. Looking to continue to improve his effectiveness away from the Twin Cities in the second half, Gibson heads into the All-Star break 8-7 with a 3.92 ERA and 1.26 WHIP.
