Kyle Gibson had a nightmare outing against the Angels on Tuesday, allowing seven earned runs over two innings in an 8-6 loss. Gibson was pummeled for five runs in the first inning, and he managed to do so while simultaneously not recording an out and without giving up so much as one extra-base hit (walk, walk, botched fielder's choice that loaded the bases, two-run single, hit by pitch, two-run single, double play, inning-ending ground out). Gibson was on a 22-inning shutout streak entering the game, but he falls to 6-6 with a 3.92 ERA. He travels to Texas on Sunday.
