Kyle Gibson gave up three runs in four innings Friday in a no-decision against the Yankees. Gibson allowed three hits, walked two and struck out none. Encouraging is that nine of his outs came on the ground. Still, he hasn't set himself apart in the fifth-starter competition so far, and he seems nearly certain to get optioned to Triple-A.
