Kyle Gibson blanked the Astros for seven innings in an easy victory Saturday. Gibson was given eight runs to work with today. That's twice as many runs as the Twins had scored in his previous three starts combined. Gibson has now had four starts this season in which he's allowed no runs and three in which he's allowed just one. Unfortunately, he's given up 27 over 22 2/3 innings in the other five, leaving him with an average 5-5 record and a 3.91 ERA.
