Kyle Gibson (back) has been cleared to start on Tuesday against the Royals after getting through a bullpen session Saturday with no issues. Gibson missed an outing with lower back stiffness, but he's feeling fine now. The right-hander holds a 4.19 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 54/30 K/BB ratio over 107 1/3 innings this season for the Twins.
