Kyle Gibson allowed two runs on five hits and a walk over six innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Tuesday. He struck out four. Gibson (2-2, 5.72 ERA) was extremely sharp outside of two big mistakes: Solo home runs swatted by Albert Pujols and Mark Trumbo. Since going 1-2 with a 7.27 ERA in his first three big league starts, Gibson has looked noticeably more comfortable in surrendering two runs apiece in his last two outings.
