The Cincinnati Reds activated shortstop Kyle Farmer from the paternity list on Monday. Relief pitcher Brad Brach was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. Farmer spent a total of three days on the paternity list as he welcomed a child with his wife. Jose Barrero and Eugenio Suarez split shortstop duties while Farmer was out.
