Kyle Blanks went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored Saturday in a win against the Snakes. The surprisingly athletic 6-foot-6, 264-pounder played left field, right field and first base in the game. The 26-year-old outfielder has rewarded San Diego for the everyday at-bats he's been receiving, and now boasts a .282/.368/.496 batting line in 131 at-bats this season. As long as he keeps raking, Blanks is usable in mixed leagues.
