Kyle Blanks is considered day-to-day after receiving an injection in his left shoulder. Blanks hasn't played since Sunday due to a sore left shoulder, but it's apparently not serious. The 25-year-old is expected to share playing time with Jesus Guzman in left field while Carlos Quentin is on the mend following knee surgery.
