Koehler will be the Marlins' No. 3 starter to begin the season, making his first start of the year April 6 in Washington, Tim Healey of the Sun-Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a poor spring that includes an 8.31 ERA and 8:7 K:BB in 8.7 innings Koehler held onto a rotation spot primarily because he's done it before, as he's made 96 starts for the Marlins over the last three seasons. If his March struggles continue into April, though, the 30-year-old could be bumped aside once Jeff Locke (biceps) gets healthy.
