Kluber struck out 13 in seven innings Thursday, giving up three runs on seven hits and a walk against the Mariners. Kluber (3-5) gave up a pair of home runs to Mike Zunino in the third and Dustin Ackley in the sixth, but other than that, Kluber was dominant. Eight of the final nine outs recorded by Kluber came via strikeout, including getting Nelson Cruz swinging for the final out of the seventh with a runner on. The reigning AL Cy Young award winner improved to 3-0 with 50 strikeouts and two walks in his last four starts. Kluber's next start will be against the reeling Royals on Wednesday.
