Kluber hurled a quality start on Saturday in a no-decision, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks across six innings while striking out six Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber allowed a homer on the first pitch of the game and another solo homer on the first pitch after a 45-minute rain delay. Clearly, the Angels have a good read on what Kluber likes to throw for a first pitch and it really bit him here. He has now allowed six home runs over his last three starts and that's really the only thing he's doing wrong at this point. He'll carry a 3.41 ERA and 1.03 WHIP into his next start against Detroit next Saturday.
