EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander settled down after faltering early, turning in a typically efficient performance on the way to his 11th victory. Kluber was efficient following a second inning in which he gave up an RBI double to Gary Sanchez and then allowed the Yankees backstop to score on a wild pitch. He threw 67 of 100 pitches for strikes and missed plenty of bats, notching 15 swings and misses. The 30-year-old has now rattled off three straight wins, giving up only five earned runs over the 22 innings encompassing those appearances. Kluber will look to make it four in a row when he faces the Angels next Friday.
