Kirk Nieuwenhuis tripled and scored a run in Friday's win over the Marlins. Nieuwenhuis has played well in limited playing time this season, hitting .302 (13-for-43) with nine extra-base hits (including two homers) and 10 RBI over just 24 games. Given the lack of production from Chris Young this season, there could more opportunity for him during the second half.
