Kimbrel struck out the side in his first save opportunity with the Padres on Tuesday night.
It's hard to imagine Kimbrel's ratios getting any better than the levels that he's sustained over the past five seasons with the Braves, but he'll now benefit from pitching in the most pitcher-friendly environment baseball after the surprising pre-Opening Day deal that sent him to San Diego. Joaquin Benoit was tasked with the eighth inning Tuesday, and he figures to be Kimbrel's primary setup man.

Where was the save opportunity? Did he have to give up a base-runner to get the save?
