Kimbrel allowed a run but struck out two to pick up his 10th save of the season Wednesday against the Mariners. Kimbrel bounced back from his last outing, when he had his first blown save of the season. He is now 10-for-11 in save chances despite having a 5.93 ERA. Kimbrel has given up nine runs in 13 innings this season, but as long as he keeps converting saves, he'll continue to serve as the Padres' closer.
