Kiermaier (wrist) has been activated off the disabled list and will bat eighth in the order Friday against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

A broken hand has kept Kiermaier out of the Rays lineup for nearly two months, but after starting a rehab assignment during the All-Star break, he showed the organization that he was ready to get back on the diamond. He'll reclaim his post in center field, where he won the Gold Glove last season. Now that Kiermaier is back, Brandon Guyer and Desmond Jennings will likely platoon in one of the corner outfield spots.
