Kevin Slowey was placed on the 7-day disabled list with Triple-A Columbus due to a right lat strain. Slowey, who was acquired from the Rockies in January, has a 5.14 ERA over his first eight starts this year at the Triple-A level. The timetable for his return isn't yet clear.
