Kevin Slowey made it through only four innings Friday, allowing five runs on seven hits in a loss to the Indians. He struck out a pair. It's Slowey's second straight poor start after he pitched well his previous two times out. He's now lost six straight outings while watching his ERA go up to 6.51 and WHIP to 1.43. The right-hander does have a favorable matchup against the Mariners next week.
