Kevin Slowey has elected free agency. Slowey posted an uninspiring 5.14 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 49 innings this year at the Triple-A level in 2012. The 28-year-old has fallen a long way and won't receive a guaranteed deal from anyone at this point.
