Kevin Slowey didn't pick up a win but held the Mets to one run over eight innings in Tuesday's 2-1 victory. Slowey allowed just four hits, struck out a season-high eight and didn't walk anyone. He failed to earn his first win of the season, though, as the Marlins needed a two-run rally in the bottom of the ninth to tally the win. Despite no victories, Slowey boasts a surprising 2.15 ERA and 1.01 WHIP this season. He should be owned in deeper mixed leagues at this point, though his supporting cast obviously holds him back. Slowey pitches in Philly this weekend.
