Kevin Slowey allowed four runs on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings in Tuesday's loss to the Rays. He struck out four. Despite the pretty uninspiring effort, Slowey left in line for the win. Unfortunately, Ryan Webb allowed both of Slowey's inherited runners to score, saddling the starter with a no-decision. The good news is that Slowey's left lat, which forced him from his last start, didn't appear to be an issue. He'll get the Mets this weekend.
