Gregg entered the game having allowed nine runs over his last 10 appearances, spiking his ERA from 0.77 to 2.97 and damaging his trade value. Gregg never was going to sustain that level of success, and his struggles may end up a blessing for fantasy owners; Gregg's regression toward the mean may end up keeping him on Chicago's roster and in the ninth inning.
