Kevin Gausman will not be on an innings limit in the season's second half. "The wrappers are off," Orioles manager Buck Showalter recently said regarding the club's usage of Gausman. The right-hander was used mostly as a spot starter in the first half, making seven starts while shuttling between Baltimore and the minor leagues. The O's still haven't committed to giving him the ball every five days, but with the kid gloves off Gausman should be more involved in the next two months. He has a 3.29 ERA over 38 1/3 innings and is a nice flyer in deeper mixed leagues.
