Kevin Gausman tossed 4 1/3 scoreless innings of relief Friday against the Yankees for his first major league win. Orioles manager went with T.J. McFarland over Gausman for the start since the Yankees are so weak from the right side, but the southpaw didn't make it out of the third inning. Fortunately, Gausman was very effective in relief, giving up just three hits and no walks while striking out four. The promising right-hander figures to get another shot in the rotation before long.
