Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman/designated hitter Kevin Cron has been sent back to the clubs alternate training site after a brief full-time stint among the starting nine. Cron has gone hitless with one walk and seven strikeouts in his first 20 plate appearances this season, forcing the clubs hand. Despite having displayed above average power potential throughout his time in the Minors, Arizona will instead choose to rotate multiple hitters into the DH slot moving forward.
