Kepler went 3-for-5 with his eighth homer, a walk, two RBI and three runs in Tuesday's 20-7 shellacking of the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Just 1-for-17 over his past five games and homerless in his last eight, Kepler needed a big effort to pull him out of the doldrums. The 24-year-old has the pop to hit 20-plus homers, but until he starts showing the sort of plate discipline we saw from him in the minors, it'll be hard to expect him to help out in batting average. Kepler's current .258 mark is probably as much as you can ask for.
