Kennedy struck out five and walked three while giving up two runs -- one earned -- on seven hits over six innings in a losing effort Friday. After the game, it was revealed that his oblique is still not 100 percent healed, U-T San Diego reports. In his two at-bats, Kennedy went 0-for-2 with a pair of strikeouts, and he's expected to limit his work with the bat as a way to minimize the possibility of making his injury worse.
