Kennedy lasted only 3.2 innings, giving up seven runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out five in Thursday's loss to the Pirates. Kennedy (2-5) was chased after Andrew McCutchen's RBI double with two outs in the fourth. He lost his fourth straight start, and he's given up seven homers and 20 earned runs in his last four starts. He'll look to snap out of his losing streak when he takes on the Mets in his next scheduled start Tuesday.
