Kennedy (hamstring) will rejoin the Padres on Tuesday to be re-evaluated and could be activated off the 15-day DL on Saturday, Dennis Lin of the Union-Tribune reports. Kennedy has progressed from bullpen sessions last week to a six inning appearance in an extended-spring training game Monday. He would likely reclaim his spot in the rotation from Odrisamer Despaigne, who has been filling in for Kennedy and is starting Monday's game against Colorado.
