Kennedy (hamstring) will be placed on the 15-day DL on Friday, the Union-Tribune's Dennis Lin reports. He left Thursday's game in the third inning with a left hamstring strain. Odrisamer Despaigne will slide into the rotation to replace Kennedy, and could be worth a look Tuesday at home against the Diamondbacks. If the injury proves to be minor, Kennedy could theoretically come off the DL Apr. 25 to take back his turn in the rotation against the Dodgers, but there's always the possibility he could need more time to get right. This move will give Despaigne at least two turns in the rotation, but his second scheduled outing will be in Coors Field, which is a situation fantasy owners may want to stay away from.
