Kennedy (hamstring) will be evaluated on Thursday, after manager Ned Yost said that the Royals don't think it is very serious, Rustin Dodd of the Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennedy was pulled from Wednesday's spring training start due to a tight left hamstring. Before he exited the game, Kennedy gave up two earned runs in three innings. Last season, the 31-year-old started 30 games for the Padres and finished with an ERA of 4.28 and a WHIP of 1.30. Kennedy doesn't believe that this injury will jeopardize his Tuesday start, and stated that it feels different than the hamstring injury that forced him to miss time in 2015.
