Kennedy (2-4) went six innings in a losing effort Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out six against the Dodgers. Mike Bolsinger smothered the Padres' hitters, so Kennedy was stuck with the loss despite delivering one of his best efforts so far this year. It's good to see him get his control back in order, as he didn't walk a batter -- if he keeps that up, it'll serve him well as he seeks to keep bringing his stats back to normality in his next start, Thursday against Pittsburgh.
