EDGE Analysis
Neither Royals fans nor fantasy owners were terribly excited about the five-year, $70 million contract that Kennedy signed this offseason, but he's off to a shining start to the year. The veteran righty's recorded exactly seven strikeouts in all three of his starts while allowing only 13 hits and three runs in 20 innings. No, he's not suddenly a star on the mound, but the early returns suggest Kennedy could be in for his finest campaign since 2011.
