Kendrick was given an unconditional release by the Braves on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick gave no reason to think he is still a viable MLB pitcher during spring training, allowing an astronomical 22.09 ERA and 4.64 WHIP in two starts. The 31-year-old hasn't had a regular season ERA below 4 since 2012 and appears to be at the end of his MLB career. He'll search for another team in free agency, but the fact that the rebuilding Braves have no need for him to eat innings is telling.
