Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Nationals are "pushing hard" to acquire left-hander Gio Gonzalez from the Athletics. According to Rosenthal, the two sides are discussing a four-for-one deal, which is akin to how the Reds landed right-hander Mat Latos from Padres over the weekend. However, it's not yet known which players are being discussed from Washington's side. Gonzalez, 26, has drawn interest from multiple teams this winter, including the Rangers, Red Sox, Marlins, Blue Jays, Royals and Tigers.
