Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Cubs have spoken to C.J. Wilson's agent.
Rosenthal says the Cubs are "trying to gauge the market." It's unclear at this point if they're a real player, but we tend to doubt it. Wilson reportedly has a six-year offer on the table and is drawing serious interest from the Nationals, Marlins, Angels, Red Sox and Rangers.
