Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that Roy Oswalt could possibly sign somewhere within the next week and pitch for that team by mid- to late-June. Rosenthal reported earlier Friday that Oswalt has already auditioned for the Phillies and Red Sox recently and has scheduled sessions with two other teams. The veteran right-hander will, not surprisingly, only sign for a team he thinks has a chance to win the World Series, though it sounds like he'll be open to pitching far away from his Mississippi home. Rosenthal says the Tigers and Yankees are not among the teams pursuing Oswalt.
