Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that Cody Ross visited with the Rangers on Tuesday.

This is the first the Rangers have shown in Ross, though there had been speculation he could be a fit once Josh Hamilton signed with the Angels. Ross met with team officials, including manager Ron Washington and GM Jon Daniels, last night. The level of the Rangers' interest isn't yet known, as they also met with free agent catcher A.J. Pierzynski earlier on Tuesday. The Phillies, Red Sox, Braves, Mariners, Mets and Orioles have all been linked to Ross so far this offseason.
