Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports was told by a source that the chances of the Marlins trading Giancarlo Stanton are "as close to zero as they can be." Stanton has naturally drawn a lot of interest, but this report doesn't come as a big surprise. Marlins assistant general manager Dan Jennings said over the weekend that the club will listen to offers on anyone, but they would have to completely blown away to even consider it. The 23-year-old slugger won't be arbitration-eligible for the first time until next winter and remains under team control though 2016.
