Kemp will serve a one-game suspension Wednesday against the Cubs for his actions during the game against the Rangers on June 13.
EDGE Analysis
He appealed the suspension, but the appeal was denied. Joc Pederson gets the start in left field in his place and will lead off. Kemp will likely return to the lineup for Thursday's series finale.

I watched it and it looked legal only because the plate was blocked and not by the process of fielding the ball Kemp had no place to go.
