Kelly (shoulder) will be activated off the disabled list to start Saturday's game against the Indians, the Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kelly made three starts while out on rehab, including his final outing when he got up to 92 pitches over 6.1 innings. The radar gun tracked him as high as 98 miles per hour on his fastball on his final pitch. "To the point of the progression of the number of pitches thrown, the velocity that he held, the command of his pitches all have been very solid," said manager John Farrell. "His work here yesterday in the bullpen was strong. So he's set to go."
